Virtual Session on Climate Change and its Impact on Women and Children Conducted

The Everest Network conducted the virtual session through Google Meet on June 25, 2023. It was facilitated by Mr. Keshav Datta Bhatta. Mr Bhatta has worked in the sector of disaster for almost twenty years. The session was attended by the members of the Network. 

During the two-hour session, Mr Bhatta made a presentation, followed by questions and answers. The open floor discussion started the conversation between the participants and the presenter on the issues such as the issues of child protection in disaster, differences in the impact of disasters based on geographical region, the importance of social safety net, and the need for strong monitoring and evaluation.
